Ryan Mead

Ryan Mead is an 18 year old Australian country musician / guitarist and live performer. While his passion is for upbeat honky tonk/ modern American country style music, he brings his larrikin styling to a wide performance repertoire covering country/ rock, blues and folk music. He covers modern artists like Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, Midland and Zach Top, yet seamlessly transitions to classics from Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley and George Strait.

His original music pays homage to his influences of the country greats with a nostalgic playing style and writing that lends itself to a distinct but familiar sound. His masterful guitar skills on display add another dimension to his already impressive vocal ability.

Ryan is a NSW Talent Development Project graduate, a HSC Encore nominee, and a graduate of Berklee's Summer Aspire program (2022).

Ryan is currently based in Boston, USA as he completed studies at Berklee College of Music.

Whether performing solo acoustically, or with a full band behind him, Ryan brings an energy and enthusiasm to his performance that makes you fall in love with Country music all over again.
